Kate Whitehouse

Kate Whitehouse, 88, formerly of Jagger Lane, Hebron, widow of Merlin Whitehouse, died Saturday Sept. 29, 2001 at the Windham Hospital. She is survived by 2 sons; Merlin of Jewett City and George of Chaplin, 2 daughters Margaret Cone of Amston and Grace Lauritzen of Andover, 2 sisters; Mary Chamberlain if Groton Long Point and Stella Barillari of Florida, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a niece and several nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic (potterfh.com) on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am at the funeral home, with burial following in the Gilead Cemetery, Hebron.
