Karen Marchand

Karen (Adamcik) Marchand left us unexpectedly Jan. 2, 2005 at her home in Windham at the age of 62. She was predeceased by her father John Adamcik and her daughter Joyce. Karen was employed as a receptionist with Dr. James J. Raynor,DDS. and Dr. Louis Cano DDS. of Mansfield. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Andre of Windham, her mother Elizabeth Adamcik and her sister and brother in law Jeannie and Mark Mangano all of Willimantic and several nieces and nephews. Karen is also survived by 2 sons, Alan Marchand of Scotland and Thomas Marchand of Hebron; and a daughter and son in law Brenda and Keith Lambert of Columbia. She also leaves behind her 5 adoring grandchildren who all loved to go over to Grandma's house, Justine, Justin, Corrine, Elise and Alyssa, who will all miss her warm smile, hugs and special treats. We will all miss her dearly and will hold on to her in our hearts forever. Memorial donations can be made in Karen's memory to the American Diabetes Assoc. 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT. 06450. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with assembly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
