Karen Mailloux Obituary
Karen L. Mailloux, 73, of North Windham, CT passed away surrounded by her family on March 5, 2023. She was born in Willimantic, CT the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Haddad) Burski.
Karen loved spending time with her family. She was the best Mom, wife, sister, grandma and an even better “GiGi” to her great grandkids. She loved playing Wii bowling and attending lunch with her friends at the Mansfield Senior Center. Karen loved to attend the Willi-Mac and WSAGW softball games to show support for her family. She was a longtime member to the Red Hats Society and St. Joseph’s church, where she had many friends. Karen loved to travel. She had a passion for reading, collecting snowmen and camels, watching her soaps, and an excessive love for Elvis Presley. Her feisty personality and humor will definitely be missed.
Karen is survived by her children Paul Trudeau, Jr. (Jennifer), Robert Trudeau (Shonda), stepson Steve Mailloux (Lynn), grandchildren Christopher Mailloux, Gerred Trudeau (Heather), Ronnie Pozzato, Chelsea Trudeau (Anfernee), Becca Pozzato (Jake), Kyra Trudeau (Alex), Shayla Grenier (Sam), Jenna Trudeau, and Dakota Trudeau, great grandchildren Savannah, Lucas, Ethan, Jocelyn, Carter, Jase, and Judith, siblings George Burski (Melissa), her twin Michael Burski, Rose Kurcinik, Donna Trahan (Ronald), Susan Krieger (Steve), and Kathy Ostruszka (Steve), best friends Donna Lussier and Pam Thomas along with many others, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Paul D. Trudeau, Sr. and the love of her life Gerald “Jerry” Mailloux and their beloved cat Patches.
Karen’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. Her graveside service will be on Wednesday March 15, 2023 at 11:00am at New Lebanon Cemetery on Waterman Rd. Lebanon, CT.
