June Beebe

June M. Beebe, 89, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2014 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born June 11, 1924 daughter of Harry S. Morse and Charlotte Houston of Mansfield, CT. June graduated from Windham High School in 1943, then married Clifford H. Beebe on August 28, 1948 and resided in the town of Ashford. She is survived by her four children, Beverly Posey and her husband Jim Posey, Glenn Beebe and his wife Roxanne Beebe, Harriet Watne and her husband Richard Watne, Matthew H. Beebe and his Finance Christianne Waugh and recently lost her son Bruce Beebe of Ashford. She also leaves behind her beloved ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She worked as a teacher's aid for the Ashford school system for fifteen years and she loved to square dance and round dance with her husband. She also loved to go camping and was an avid book reader and loved to spend her summers in Maine and her winters in Florida. There will be a private graveside ceremony at the Woodward Cemetery in Ashford. There are no calling hours.
