Julia M. Ereshena

Julia M. (Mercier) Ereshena, 78, of Jackson St. Willimantic, widow of John Ereshena, died Saturday morning Dec. 11, 2004 at St. Joseph Living Center. She was born Sept. 9, 1926 in Canada. Julia had been employed at Brand Rex for over 30 years prior to her retirement and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by 2 sons, John of Willimantic and Paul and his wife Christina of Willimantic; 2 daughters, Pauline Taylor of Willimantic and June Henderson and her husband Wallace of Willimantic; 4 brothers, Henry Mercier and Rene Mercier both of Norwich and Leo Mercier and Edward Mercier both of Canada; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:15 prior to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery.
