Jules A. Senechal, 79, of Windham, husband of Georgette (Pellerin) Senechal, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Windham Hospital after a long illness. He was born June 19, 1933 in Quebec, the son of Francois and Florida (Caron) Senechal and had lived in Windham for the past 60 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Jules was employed at the former Brand-Rex in Willimantic for 15 years and managed several area nurseries prior to his retirement at the age of 72. In addition to his wife of 60 years he is survived by his son, Richard Senechal and his wife, Michele of Lebanon, two brothers, Francois Senechal in Quebec and Raymond Senechal of Maine, three grandchildren, Brooke Senechal of MA, Ashley Slater and her husband Chip of Willimantic and Casey Senechal of Lebanon as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters and a brother. His Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St., Willimantic. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society at
