Judith Rohan Obituary
Judith M Rohan, 84, passed away on November 22, 2021 after a short illness. She was a long-time
resident of Windham Center and served in the past as President of the Windham Center Fire Dept
Auxiliary, as well as President of the Windham Center School PTO.
She was employed as Assistant to the Dean of Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute until her
retirement.
Judy was a prolific reader, and an avid cook. Especially loved by her family were her Swedish meatballs
and chicken soup. Judy generously expressed her fondness of nature and her love of animals through her
long-time support of the Audubon Society and National Wildlife Federation.
She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Rohan and Catherine Harrelle and her sons Michael Rohan and
Robert Rohan Jr. and his wife Jeanette; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert Rohan in 1971, and two brothers, Carl Johnson and George
Johnson, Jr.
Judy’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at
Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. Her funeral service will be private.
