Juan Diaz

Juan F. "LaCabra" Diaz, 52, of Willimantic, died Monday May 31, 2010 at Windham Hospital. He was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on May 11, 1958, the son of Felipe and Carmen Diaz. He is survived by his wife Maria Mateo, his children Mariceli Livsley, Kyley Diaz, Juan C. Diaz, Joey Mateo, Sasha Mateo and eight grandchildren; his sisters Carmen Diaz and Gladys Diaz, brothers Ramon Diaz and Nicolas Diaz, and many nieces and nephews. He was employed with Willimantic Waste Paper before his illness. He fought kidney failure for over eleven years. The family would like to thank Windham Dialysis and everyone at Manchester Memorial Hospital. A special Thank you to Dr. Mendoza for his dedication. His family will receive friends on Wednesday June 2nd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. His funeral service will be held on Thursday June 3rd at 11:00am at Potter Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham.
