Joyce M. (Sperry) Stebner, widow of Arthur Stebner, of Cook Hill Rd., Lebanon, died Friday Nov. 1, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born Sept. 13, 1928 in New Haven, the daughter of Russell and Anna (Peterson) Sperry and grew up in Orange. She had been employed for many years by Rogers Corp. in S. Windham. Joyce was a member of the Eastern Ct. Draft Horse Assoc. and of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lebanon. She was predeceased by a brother Frederick C. Sperry. She is survived by 2 brothers; Russell Sperry of West Haven and Leroy Sperry of Guilford, 4 nieces; Jennie Dawe of Gardner, ME., Nancy McLean of Southbury, Roxanne Sperry of Chicago and Lauren Lee VonSchamburg of Colorado, a sister in law Martha Stebner of Lebanon and a brother in law Walter Stebner of Lebanon. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00pm. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Village Hill Rd., Lebanon with the Rev. Scott Schuett officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Her family suggests memorial donations to the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 361 Beaumont Highway, Lebanon, Ct. 06249.
