Josephine A. Molnar, 94, of Ashford, died Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. She was born September 10, 1910 in Colchester, the daughter of Peter and Marcella (Nadonly) Gantick and had lived in Columbia before moving to Lebanon where her family farmed. She was employed for many years in the spinning room of the American Thread Company in Willimantic. In 1933 she married Louis Frank Molnar and lived in Willimantic before moving to Westford where they raised their family. She is survived by 4 children, Joyce Axelrod of Redondo Beach, CA, William Molnar of Ashford, Louis F. Molnar III of Eastford, Linda Varga of Mansfield, 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. prior to the procession to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, Rte. 44 Ashford. Burial will follow in St. Philip Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ashford Volunteer Fire Dept., P. O.
