Joseph Toth

Joseph Toth, 86, of Storrs, husband of the late Eleanor (Taylor) Toth, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 in Windham. He was born January 2, 1921 in Storrs, the son of the late John Toth Sr. and Elizabeth Toth and had lived in Storrs the past 50 years. Prior to his retirement he was employed for 35 years in the maintenance building at the University of Connecticut. He loved nature, hunting and fishing and was a member of many local clubs and organizations. He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Jordan of Storrs, three grandchildren, Sandi Sandoval and her husband Ray of Texas, Jarrett Toth and Bobby Joe Toth, both of Willimantic and a great granddaughter, Jessica of Texas. He was predeceased by two sons, Mark and Robert Toth and a granddaughter, Laura Bieu. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services and burial will be private.
