Joseph Macha

Joseph Macha, 77, of Willimantic, died Saturday, August 09, 2008 in Windham. He was born May 24, 1931 in Willimantic, the son of David and Melvina (Claing) Macha and was a life long resident. He was a heavy equipment operator on numerous area construction projects. He loved people, animals and gardening. Joseph loved to have fun and joke around with everyone. He is survived by four children, Andrew Macha, Melvina Macha, Madelyn Macha and Joann Macha, two sisters, Blanche Sousa and Alice Rood, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Macha (USMC). His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery.
