Joseph A. Lariviere

Joseph A. Lariviere, 86, of Storrs and Brooklyn, died Thursday March 6, 2008. He was born Dec. 14, 1921 in New Britain. He had been employed at UConn prior to retiring in 1976. He was a member of Willimantic Elks Lodge #1311. He is survived by a son Thomas R. Lariviere Sr. and his wife Ellen, three grandchildren , Kristine Caron, Kimberly Love and Thomas Lariviere Jr.; and five great grandchildren all of North Carolina. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. Cremation will follow.
