Joseph John Czelusniak

Joseph John Czelusniak, 63, of Willimantic, passed away Friday March 15, 2013 from chronic heart failure after a heart transplant he received 13 years ago. He was born May 4, 1949 in Willimantic, Connecticut, the first of two sons to Edward and Frances Czelusniak. Living in the Willimantic area all of his life, Joseph graduated from University of Connecticut in 1971. Joseph went on to serve in the United States Post Office for more than 25 years and retired in 2008. Joseph attended faithfully at Christian Fellowship Church in Scotland, CT for the last twenty years. In his free time he enjoyed golf and watching the Boston Red Sox win. Joseph was faithfully devoted to his two sons from a previous marriage to Mary Cripe, Joseph John Czelusniak II and Matthew Paul Czelusniak. Joseph also leaves behind his two grandsons Jonathan Link Czelusniak and Josiah Edward Czelusniak. The always loving father, he will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 23rd at 4:30pm in the chapel at Christian Fellowship Church, 140 Pudding Hill Rd, Scotland, CT. 06264.
