Joseph P Christadore Sr

Joseph P. Christadore Sr., 84 of Willimantic, husband of Cecelia (Peltier) Christadore, passed away Tuesday January 14, 2003 at the Windham Hospital. He was born November 25, 1918 in New London, the son of Joseph and Josephine Christadore and had lived in Willimantic most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Gold Star Post # 1724 V.F.W. and was employed for many years at the former American Thread Company prior to his retirement. In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 children, Richard Christadore, Joseph Christadore Jr. and Josie Connell, all of Willimantic, 3 sisters, Yolanda Christadore of Willimantic, Eleanor Racette of Willimantic and Mary Wojick of Windham Center, 4 brothers, Fred Christadore of Willimantic, Eugene Christadore of North Windham, Jack Christadore of Manchester and Charles Christadore of Wethersfield, 2 grandchildren, Keith Christadore of Windham and Stacey Gendreau of Chaplin, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Dominic Christadore. Funeral services will be private with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Windham Community Memorial Hospital, 112 Mansfield Ave. Willimantic, CT 06226.
