Jose Malave

Jose Malave Willimantic Resident; Father of three Jose Malave, 65 years old, of Willimantic, husband of Luz M. Gonzalez, died Tuesday June 2, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. He was born November 29, 1948 , in Puerto Rico, son of the late Juan B. Malave Flores and Tomasa Galarza and had lived in Willimantic for the past 17 years. Besides his wife, he issurvived by three children, Elisave Malave, son-In-law Roberto Isidro, Gabriel Malave, daughter-In-law Cindy Caraballo and Antonio Malave , all of Willimantic. His six grandsons, Joseph, Jadiel, Jaden, Yandel, Marc, and Eric three granddaughters Yanellyze, Pamela, and Jary, three sisters, Catalina Flores of Puerto Rico, Carmen R. Flores and Nelida Malave, both of Willimantic, four brothers Pedro Irizarry of New York, Juan B. Flores Alvarez, Moises Flores and Jose Luis Flores all of Willimantic. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews in Willimantic and Puerto Rico. His family will receive friends at the Potter funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday, June 6th at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
