Jose L. Altiery

Jose L. Altiery, 61, of Paterson, N.J., husband of Emperatriz Altiery, died unexpectedly on Wednesday June 1, 2005 at the home of his sister in Willimantic. He was born July 11, 1943 in Puerto Rico. In addition to his wife he is survived by 5 children, Silvia Altiery of Puerto Rico, Myra Altiery of FL., Ita Altiery of Passaic, N.J., Jose A. Altiery of Paterson, N.J. and Rey Ruiz of Willimantic; 4 stepchildren, Franklin Almonte , Nilda Almonte, Nancy Almonte and Mildred Rodriguez all of Paterson, N.J.; several brothers and sisters including Maria Jimenez of Willimantic and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Saturday between 9:00 and 10:30am prior to his 11:00am Funeral Mass at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, Club Rd., Windham.
