Jolanda Arvak

Jolanda (Juul) Arvak, 79, formerly of Manners Avenue, Willimantic, died Saturday morning June 28, 2003 at St. Joseph Living Center, Windham. She was born July 2, 1923 in Viljandi, Estonia and has resided in Willimantic since 1950 where she was employed by the Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. She was married to Victor Arvak who died on Feb. 29, 1996. Jolanda was the last of her family. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00pm at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic with the Rev. Udo Tarri officiating. Burial will be private in the New Willimantic Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested to the Estonian Evangelican Lutheran Church of Connecticut c/o Helgi Pihel, 14 Hollow Brook Rd., Windsor, Ct. 06095-1202.
