John L. Pelletier

John L. Pelletier, 48, of Willimantic, died Saturday Feb. 3, 2007 at Windham Hospital after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 11, 1958 in Hartford the son of Joseph Pelletier of Willimantic and Marie (Bosse) Pelletier of Coventry. John was a very caring person who volunteered in helping the elderly in many capacities. For the last 18 years he had been employed as a driver for Dial A Ride. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many outdoor activities. John was a United States Army veteran having been stationed in Germany. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his longtime friend Valerie Roche of Willimantic, four brothers, Donald and his wife Cindy of Coventry, Dean and his wife Donna of Oakland, R.I., Roy and his wife Sharon of Coventry and Allan of Colchester; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic on Thursday between 6:00 and 8:00pm followed by cremation.
