John "Bill" Pedro Jr

John W. Bill Pedro Jr., 47, of Willimantic, died Sunday October 28, 2001 at the Windham Hospital. He was born April 2, 1954 in Mansfield, the son of John Pedro Sr. and the late Stella (Woron) Pedro and had lived in the Windham area most of his life. He was a graduate of Windham High School, loved sports, especially bowling and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. In addition to his father he is survived by his step-mother, Marie Pedro, his sister, Deborah Johnston of Canterbury, a step-sister, Ann Pedro of Willimantic, 2 nieces, Jennifer Johnson and Joleen Johnston. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. His family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Covenant Soup Kitchen, 220 Valley St. Willimantic, CT 06226. www.potterfh.com
