John Naumec

John Naumec, 96, of Columbia, passed away Monday Nov. 14, 2011 at Hartford Hospital. He was born on Feb. 7, 1915 and resided in Columbia for most of his life. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Sorokolit) Naumec and his daughter MaryAnn Desrosiers. He is survived by two sons, John R. Naumec and Theodore Naumec and his wife Irene; two daughters, Marilyn Dillon and her husband John and Sandra Wojick and her husband Robert; three brothers, Pete, Harry and Fred; and numerous grandchildren. His family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday Nov. 19th between 2:00pm and 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to Columbia Volunteer Fire Dept. P.O. Box 26, Columbia, CT. 06237.
