John D. Jack Brennan, 86, of Willimantic, joined his beloved Rose on Sunday May 21, 2006. He was born Aug. 10, 1919 in Willimantic the son of Daniel and Alice (Lennon) Brennan. He was a local electrician for forty five years and also served in the U.S. Navy from Feb. 1941 to Sept. 1945 aboard mine sweepers. He is survived by a daughter Jane Brennan of New York, N.Y., a son James Brennan and his wife Nancy and three grandsons, James, Michael and Patrick all of South Windham, 2 granddaughters, Cindy Bean and Cathy Krnjaich, a brother J. Paul Brennan of Gig Harbor, WA. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son John Brennan Jr., a sister Helena Ives, a brother Gene Brennan and a sister Sr. Alicia Brennan. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) on Wednesday between 9:30 and 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
