John H. Reynolds 72, of Columbia, husband of Reta (Brisbois) Reynolds, died Monday Feb. 21, 2005 at St. Joseph Living Center. He was born Aug. 9, 1932 in Windham. He was a U.S. Army veteran stationed in Okinawa during the Korean War. John co-owned Frank's Ornamental Iron Shop in Manchester with his son Gary. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge #1440. John was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his wife he is survived by his mother Edna Reynolds of Coventry, 2 sons and a daughter in law, Gary F. and Deborah Reynolds of Columbia and Stephen J. Reynolds; 4 grandchildren, Amy, Danielle, Kimberly and Justin; 2 brothers, Roland Reynolds and his wife Ruth of Coventry and David Reynolds of Coventry; a sister Katherine Wadsworth of Mansfield, a sister in law Margaret Kozin of Columbia , a brother in law Baldon Pantoja of Columbia, several nieces and nephews and many good friends. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Wednesday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:15am prior to his 12:00pm Funeral Mass at St. Columba Church, Columbia. Burial will be private in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
