John M. Dubeski

John Marion Dubeski, 84, of West Hartford, beloved husband of the late Mary (Nash) Dubeski, died on Friday Oct., 31, 2003 at the Douglas Manor in Windham. John was born Oct. 27, 1919. He was a graduate of the University of Hartford and served in the U.S. Army in both the Korean and Second World Wars. He was employed by Allstate Insurance Co. and then by Travelers Insurance Co. before starting his own business of Jay Dee Photography. He and his wife Mary were co-owners of the Candy and Cake Craft Co. He was a member of the Elks and various photography organizations. John is survived by his daughter Marion Wezowicz of West Hartford, his daughter and son in law Deborah and William Whipple of Windham, 6 grandchildren and spouses, Edward Wezowicz, William and Lisa Whipple, Melissa Clark, Kimberly Whipple, Jennifer and Arnel Joyner and Mandy and Steve Makein, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Wanda Eckel of Rocky Hill and Bernice Buczinski of Clearwater, FL. and a brother Walter Dubiski of Simsbury. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 10:30 am at the First Congregational Church of Windham (intersection of Rte 14 and Rte 203, on the green) Windham Center. Burial will be private in the Windham Center Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be sent to the First Congregational Church of Windham, P.O.
