John J. Donahue

John J. Donahue, 85, of Hampton, CT passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015. He was born on August 22, 1929. He is survived by his wife Patricia Donahue nee Dino; son John J. Donahue IV and his wife Deanne (Dusty); son Stephen Donahue and his wife Kathy; daughter Geraldine Donahue and her husband Thomas Sisti; daughter Deborah Donahue and partner Mark Boggess; sister Shirley Crawford, and brother-in-law Clifford Hicks. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Kristin, Sean and wife Carol-Ann, Spencer, Kyle and wife Michelle, Matthew and Shane as well as great grandchildren Morgan and Jeremiah. He was a lifelong resident of Hampton where he established Donahue General Contractors in 1955, an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, and an avid collector of antique cars. But most importantly he was the patriarch of his family who loved and adored him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hampton-Chaplin Ambulance Corps or to Our Lady of Lourdes Church water fund. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 41 Cedar Swamp Rd, Hampton, CT at 11:00 a.m.
