John-David Sabo Sr

July 15, 1951 — April 26, 2007

John-David Sabo Sr., of Scotland, born July 15, 1951, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday April 26th 2007. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sara Lundin Sabo; his parents Andrew and Louise Sabo of South Windham; his son John-David Jr. and wife Shira of Lebanon; his son Adam and wife Christine of Auburn, NY; his daughter Amy Vega and husband Aaron of Scotland; his son Jason and wife Becky of Willimantic; his grandchildren Alex, Damon, Aaron, Austin, Ashley, Nicodemus, Gunnar, Madeline, Gabrielle, and Chloe; his sister Betty Wengloski and husband Michael of Lebanon; his sister Suzanne Tutto and husband Kenneth of Lebanon, and many loved nieces and nephews. John was a master auto technician, most recently employed by The Carriage House of New London. He was an active member in Tres Dias, attended the Abiding Word Church, in Chaplin, and was also involved in numerous ministries. He was a loving husband, compassionate father, and devoted son. He will be greatly missed. Open house, for family and friends, will be held Saturday evening from 5-8 at the Sabo home, 243 Kemp Road, Scotland. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:00pm at the Christian Life Assembly, 143 Windham Road (Rte. 32), Willimantic. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either the "Council for Christian Arts", 116 Courtyard Lane, Storrs, CT 06268 or Abiding Word Church building fund, 55 South Bedlam Road, Chaplin, CT 06235.
