John D. "Buddy" Holman

John D ?Buddy? Holman was born on August 12, 1935 in Elysburg, PA and left us on February 15, 2019, passing away peacefully with his family by his side. He enjoyed spending time at the family camp in the mountains of Haneyville, PA. There was nothing more enjoyable to him than being one with nature. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was employed by Pratt & Whitney for over 38 years and served his country proudly for two separate tours. He was Willi-Mac Softball?s biggest fan, as well as an avid Uconn Woman?s Basketball fan. He truly enjoyed watching his sons? and grandchildren?s sporting events, rarely missing a game. He leaves behind his beautiful wife Nancy, three sons; Doug (Elaine), Ron (Carol), and Brian (Jill). He also leaves his grandchildren; Amber, Ashlin, Shane, Corey, Peyton, Anthony, Josh, Jake, Brandon, and great grandchild Camilla. There will be a Celebration of Life on March 2, 2019 at the French Club at 116 Club Rd. in Windham at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
