John A. Avila

John Avila, 79, of?N Franklin, CT died December 4, 2016 at Crestfield Rehabilitation. He graduated Elan College in North Carolina and was a long time employee of CL&P, he retired 2002. He was a member of the Franklin Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing and visiting with his family. He is survived by his wife Cecelia Avila of N Franklin, CT, his son Ed Avila, and daughter-in-law Donna Avila of Canterbury, CT , his two grandchildren Ian Avila of Ringe, NH, Shawn Deroko of Plainfield, CT, His brother and sister-in law Bill and Debbie Avila of Chaplin, CT, his brother and sister-in-law Chris and Jody Avila of Stillwater, ME and his brother David Avila of Southbury, CT, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two sons, ?Chucky? Avila, and James Avila. There will be a graveside service at the Plains Road Cemetery, in N. Franklin, CT on Friday December 9, 2016 at 11:00am.
