Joe Wilson III, 34, of Willimantic, departed this life on Monday March 14, 2011 at his home. Brother Joe was born on March 7, 1977 in Willimantic the son of Joe Wilson II and the late Trusey Hurt-Wilson of Willimantic. A lifelong resident of Willimantic, Joe attended Windham High School and graduated from Eastconn in Columbia. He was a devoted father to his son Joe Wilson IV and was a loving kind young man and will be missed by many. He was predeceased by his loving mother Trusey-Hurt Wilson, grandfather Joe Wilson Sr., grandmother Malinda Wilson, two aunts, Mattie Simon and Joseph Price and two uncles Johnny Wilson and Gene Wilson. He leaves to mourn his son Joe Wilson IV, his father Joe Wilson II, sister Kaniada Hurt-Grace, brother in law Chris Grace and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family appreciates your prayers, love and kindness. His family will receive relatives and friends at Calvary Baptist Church, 412 Valley St. Willimantic on Monday March 21st between 11:00am and 12:00pm with the funeral service beginning at 12:00pm.
