Joan (Adams) Rood, 75, of Willimantic, wife of Charles Rood, died Monday December 18, 2017 and Vanderman Place. She was born March 13, 1942, the daughter of the late Walter and Ida (Lewis) Adams. Joan is finally at peace and will be missed by all. In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by a son Thomas Kowalski; sister Carol Lorenc; and three grandchildren; and her cat Rembrandt.
