Jerome Bouchard

Jerome Jerry Bouchard, 61, of Woodstock Valley, husband of Lois (Helsel) Bouchard, died Monday January 9, 2006 at the Windham Hospital. He was born May 1, 1944 in Hartford, the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Lawrence) Bouchard and had lived in Woodstock for the past 20 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam era and had been employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Mental Retardation for 33 years. Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, David Bouchard, a daughter, Jennifer Doane and a granddaughter, Brittany Doane, all of Woodstock Valley, 2 brothers, Jeffrey Bouchard of Florida and Steven Bouchard of Eastford, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday January 13, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
