Jeremy Dwight Battcher

Jeremy D. Battcher, 22, of Scotland, died Saturday October 1, 2005 in Canterbury of injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born April 1, 1983 in Hartford, the son of Nancy (LaPalme) Battcher of Scotland and Dwight Battcher of Willimantic and was a graduate of Parish Hill High School. In addition to his parents he is survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers, Jamie Battcher, Justine Battcher, Jessica Battcher, Jacob Battcher and Jordan Battcher, all of Scotland, his paternal grandparents, Phyllis and Marvin Battcher of Colorado Springs, CO, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Carol Maine of Willimantic and Joseph LaPalme of Willimantic. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
