Jenifer M. Milhomme, 24, of Windham, on the evening of July 24, 2016, an angel was tragically taken from us resulting from an automotive accident. Jenn Marie was put on this earth on March 7, 1992 in Windham Connecticut with the sole purpose to spread love and happiness where ever she went. She attended Lighthouse Christian School, Windham Christian School, Kings School, E. O. Smith High School and graduated in 2010. True to her giving nature Jenn attended Branford Hall University for Massage Therapy so that her healing hands were able to bring comfort to those who were in pain. She was a self-proclaimed ?hippie mermaid? which perfectly described her nonconformist nature. She embraced her unconventionality and set out to make the world a better place to be. Those who were wise enough to accept Jenn Marie?s charismatic ways were rewarded with a profound personal enrichment that very few people ever have the chance to enjoy. For Jenn Marie gave a piece of her heart to anyone that accepted her, filling them with an abundance of love and happiness. She was planning on pursuing a career as an elementary school teacher this fall. For she knew if one is to make a change in the world you must start with the children. Some may say that Jenn Marie was taken from us too early. That she had so much more life to live. But I like to think that angels like Jenn Marie are too good to spend much time on this earth. They come, teach us the lessons we must learn, and once their mission is complete, they are brought back home. They leave it to us to receive the message they bring, and to spread that message to others as she did. She is survived by her mother Holly Swiatek, step father Mike Swiatek, her brother Marc Milhomme, sister Caroline Swiatek, brother Seth Swiatek, grandparents Francis ?Pa? and Rhoda "Bub" Milhomme and aunt Jackie along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jenn?s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday July 29, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT 06226. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 30, 2016 at 10:30am at Baptist Fellowship Church, 195 Rte. 6, Columbia, CT 06237.
