Jen Webster Obituary
Jen Webster, a beacon of creativity and love, passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 69, in a tragic car accident in Storrs, Connecticut, accompanied by her cherished dogs, Shel and Uli. Born on November 28, 1955, in Germany, Jen's journey through life was marked by her infectious warmth, boundless thoughtfulness, and the joy she brought to her family and friends.

Jen, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, leaves behind a legacy of love and artistry. Her husband, John Webster, stands as a testament to their enduring love, a bond that began when she was at Hornsey College of Art in London. Together, they navigated the ebb and flow of life, creating a family and a home filled with joy and creativity. Although pre-deceased by her parents, Nancy and Ambassador John Condon, Jen's spirit lives on through her siblings, Leba and Kent Condon.

Above all, Jen's heart belonged to her family. John was her partner in every sense, sharing in her dreams and supporting her in every endeavor. Together, they raised their sons, Kelvin, Glen, and Nico, instilling in them the values of love, creativity, and thoughtfulness. Jen's joy multiplied with the addition of her daughters-in-law, Laura Beth and Amy. Her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart, each of them a cherished member of her extended family.

Perhaps the greatest joy in Jen's life was the time she spent with her grandchildren, Adonis, Luca, Leo, and Noah. Each moment with them was cherished, as she imparted wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love. Her ability to make each grandchild feel special was a gift that will continue to resonate throughout their lives.

Jen's professional life was as diverse as her interests. She found joy and purpose in her roles as a librarian, a lunch lady, and later as a financial officer for Cool Grind. Each position allowed her to connect with her community in unique ways, spreading her warmth and kindness.

True to her artistic roots, Jen had a passion for making jewelry, a hobby through which she channeled her creativity. Horse riding gave her a sense of freedom and connection to nature, while her love for gardening was evident in the vibrant blooms that surround her home. An excellent cook, Jen's kitchen was the heart of the home, filled with the aromas of her delicious creations. She was also an avid dog trainer, her patience and love helping to nurture well-behaved and loving canine companions.

Described by those who knew her as creative, loving, and thoughtful, Jen Webster's impact on the world was as beautiful as the jewelry she crafted. Her spirit, characterized by her generosity and kindness, will forever be remembered and missed.

While the sudden loss of Jen leaves a void in the hearts of many, her memory serves as a guiding light, inspiring those she loved to live with the same passion and kindness that she embodied so effortlessly. Jen's life was a testament to the beauty that can be created when one pours love into every endeavor and cherishes every moment with those they hold dear.
