Jeffrey M. Roy

Jeffrey M. Roy, 62, of Ashford, CT passed away on March 13, 2017. He was born in Harford, CT, and graduated from South Windsor High School. He served in the Army National Guard, worked as a rigger and crane operator most of his life. He enjoyed being outdoors, watching football, drag racing, riding his Harley, and spending time with his two faithful ?Fur Babies?, Sofie Mae and Mollie the Dollie. Jeffrey was predeceased by his father John Roy. He leaves behind his girlfriend of 18 years Deborah Ann Chappell of Ashford, CT; his mother Barbara Roy; sister Kim Zitani and her husband Chris Zitani, and 2 nephews, Matthew and Shaun all of Port St. Lucie, FL. He also leaves his brother Mark Roy of South Windsor, CT and best friend Dave Guiles of Ashford, CT. He will be missed. A Funeral Service for Jeffrey will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:00 am, St. Philip-Apostle Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT 06278, with burial to follow at St. Philip Cemetery.
