Jeffrey Lynn Donahue

Jeffrey Lynn Donahue 67, of Manchester, Connecticut passed away in his home on Thursday March 15, 2018. Born on March 25, 1950 in Willimantic, Connecticut he is survived by his two children, his daughter, Kelly Lynn Donahue-Piro and her husband Andrew Piro, his son, Timothy Patrick Donahue; his mother, Constance Donahue; brothers, Kevin Donahue and his younger brother Jamie and his wife Darla Donahue. He is predeceased by his father, Daniel Donahue. As a young man Jeff was an altar boy and active in the boy scouts. He received several scouting awards most notably the prestigious Eagle Scout award. Jeff graduated Lyman High School in the class of 1968, he then furthered his education a ECSU with a Bachelor of Arts class of 1974. Throughout his professional career in beverage sales, he mentored many sales professionals and also attained many awards for his success in the industry. He was a 35 year member of the Willimantic Elks Club, before he moved to Manchester. On a personal level Jeff greatly enjoyed travel, taking several trips each year to explore the world. He greatly enjoyed reading and always had a good book in his hand. Those who knew Jeff will always have fond memories of his dynamic sense of humor. To commemorate Jeff, the family invites you to a Wake on Thursday March 22, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St (Rte.195) Willimantic, Connecticut. A Memorial Service will be held at Potter Funeral Home on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2pm.
