Jeanne (Baker) Fallon, 87, of Coventry, wife of the late Kevin Fallon, passed away Saturday (May 4, 2013) after a brief illness. Jeanne was born in Vernon on January 11, 1926, to Arthur and Frances Baker. She resided in Glastonbury, Manchester and North Windham before moving to Coventry. As a young woman, Jeanne worked at Pioneer Parachute during World War II. She retired from Manchester Memorial Hospital where she worked for 25 years as a nurse's aide. She loved antique hunting, tag sales, the ocean and going to the beach. She loved her poodle, Kandy, and had many dogs during her life time. Jeanne was a member of Windham Center Congregational Church, Windham. She is survived by her five children: Susan (Exior) Voisine of Stafford Springs, Joyce (Vaughn) Evans of North Westchester, Everette Keeney of East Hartford, Janet (Stephen) Dwyer of Tolland, and Amy Brown of Tolland. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Brenda Baker, Marc Voisine, Kimberly Young, Karyn Evans, Krystal Keeney, Wesley Keeney, Erika Collier, Tara Norbut, Madison Brown, and Jack Brown as well as thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Carol (Robert) Warburton of Marlborough and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister Arlene (Wesley) Charter of Ellington, a brother George Baker of Suffield, a sister Edna Baker of Vernon, a brother Ralph Baker of Vernon and former husband and friend Wesley Keeney of Salem.
