Jeanne Marie (Bouffard) Filek

Jeanne Marie Filek of Franklin, CT passed away suddenly at Windham Hospital On Monday, April 8, 2019. Jeanne spent her career in the printing industry where she met and married her husband of 37 years, Jerome Filek. After retiring in 2007, she began a second career doing charitable work for the Catholic Church, most notably creating and maintaining a website of Father Patrick Martin (awildcanary.com). Jeanne was predeceased by her son Scott and leaves behind her husband, her sister Joan Roberts, her daughters, Joan Mitta, husband Larry, Kimberley Giard, husband Bruce, Sherry Major, husband Sandor, stepsons Arthur Filek and Earl Filek, grandchildren Joseph, James and Nichole Major, Joshua Weirs, Justin Perry, Shealynn Filek, great grandchildren Cayde Perry and Ellias Filek, numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved cat Muggles. Jeanne was devoted to her grandchildren and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. A funeral Mass will take place Friday, April 12, 2019 11:00 am at St Francis of Assisi Church 67 W Town St, Lebanon, CT 06249.?In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ( www.jdrf.org ).
