Jean Capulli, 83, of Lebanon, CT died February 9, 2016 with her daughter Rose Person, and granddaughter Amanda Person by her side. Jean was born September 13, 1933 in Newberry, South Carolina. Jean was a resident of Lebanon for years, and owned a store, Jeans Gift Shop, in Willimantic, where she worked for years. Jean enjoyed conversing with others, reading romance novels, boating, animals and of course her big truck! Jean was a good wife, mother and grandmother. Her loving kindness extended to family and others before herself. She was preceded in death by her husband Mario Capulli, whom she was married to for 56 years, and son Paul Kripps of Niantic. She is survived by her daughter Linda Gorgone of Willimantic, son Gary Eckert of Niantic, daughter June Poudrier of Baltic, daughter Rose Person of Canterbury, and son Thomas Capulli of Middletown. Jean also leaves behind her grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, and Christopher Poudrier, Jennifer Harris, Michael Eckert, Davin and Amanda Person, along with several great grandchildren. The family would like to thank W. Jeffery Baker, the Oncology and Ambulatory care staff of Windam Hospital, and Davis Place of Danielson, for medical care, support, patience and kindness. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, February 12, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT.
