Janice H. (Gray) Bunce, 77, of Storrs, CT was born in Jonesport, Maine on December 10, 1943 and passed away on July 29, 2021. Janice was an amazing woman who is loved and will always be cherished.
Our Mom, or Nana as she liked to be called by her grandkids, loved nothing more than a hot sunny day on the beach with a glass of wine in her hand. She kept everyone on their toes with her quick wit and sarcastic banter, she loved life and lived every day to the fullest. She loved our Sunday family cookouts by the pool, singing Karaoke for hours with her darling Jack and anyone else who would be up to the challenge. Dancing and music were always a passion of hers and she was singing away until the end.
She is survived by her sweetheart Jack Riley; her children Frank Dorr, Jr. (Gail Dorr), Eric Bocchino, and Jodi Abele (Michael Abele); Grandchildren Justin, Jessica, Amanda, Jennifer B., Michelle, Jennifer A., Cynthia, Mackenzie and Tony; great-grandchildren Blake, Thomas, Liam, Aubrey and Adalina. Janice was preceded in death by her loving husband Allen Bunce, Jr.
