Jane M. Nasansky, 91, of Storrs, wife of the late Andrew Nasansky, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in Manchester. She was born November 11, 1914 in Coventry, the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Chaslak) Solenski and had lived in Storrs for many years where she was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel. Some years ago she was employed part time in the E. O. Smith High School kitchen. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, gardening and being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Robert Nasansky, a daughter Madeline Nasansky, a granddaughter, Sheryl Nasansky, all of Storrs, several nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank Crestfield Rehabilitation Center in Manchester for the wonderful care they provided for their mother. Funeral services were private with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Coventry. There were no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mansfield Volunteer Fire Dept., 999 Storrs, Rd., Storrs, CT 06268. Arrangements were through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic.
