Jane Lewis Obituary
Jane Ann Lewis, 94, of Storrs, CT, passed away on April 12, 2024. She was born in Winston Salem, NC, and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Georgia (Bloor) Kissel.
She went to the University of Wisconsin, Madison majoring in art, and was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.
Jane was a lover of art, an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and loved her UW badgers. She traveled the world on cruise ships with her son Richard. She firmly believed in the power and importance of education. Culture was one of her favorite topics of conversation.
She is survived by her daughter Sarah Roley, grandchildren Kevin Roley and Katherine Button, her husband John, and great-grandchildren Charlotte and Liliana Button. Jane was predeceased by her son, Richard Lewis, and brother, Mark Kissel.
There are no calling hours. Her funeral service will be Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 10:00 am at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. Her burial will be at the convenience of her family.
