Jan Johannes Van Woerkom

Jan Adrianus Van Woerkom, 72 of Lebanon passed away November 24, 2016 at his home surrounded by his wife Sandra, daughter Sarah Angela and the light of his life Daisy Rose. He was born October 26, 1944 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Jan graduated from New London High School, MIT, UCONN- received his Masters degree in Electrical engineering. He was an avid participant in the town of Lebanon, Chairman for the solid waste, served on a committee for the improvement of the Lebanon Elementary School. He was also a member of the First Congregational Church of Lebanon. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Rose; son, Chandler and his wife Shannon; daughters, Elizabeth and Abigail; sister, Margreet and her Husband Dr. Larry Beason, and their children Lindsay and her husband Altan, and Mathew as well as Jan's very dear friend Suzette Singer. Jan was predeceased by his first wife Cindy, his parents Adrianus and Maria Van Woerkom. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The First Congregational Church of Lebanon.. The celebration of Jan's life will be at The First Congregational Church of Lebanon on December 17, 2016 at 11:00am.
