James R. Wheeler

James R. Wheeler, 47, of Coventry, passed away peacefully on May 1st 2013. He was born on May 9, 1965, the loving, only son of the late Thomas and Beatrice Wheeler. He was a lifelong resident of Coventry and could always be found fishing at the lake he loved, which was just a hop, skip and jump from his home. He was employed by JC Penney for over 12 years before his illness. He is survived by his sisters, Kathy Wheeler-Pointer of Bolton, Sandra Wheeler of Willimantic, nieces and nephews Danielle and Jackie Pointer, Angela Hernandez, Miguel Jimenez, Mark, Jennifer and Gordon Mills, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and little sister Mary and her daughter, Jessica. His family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic. Funeral and burial will be private.
