James G. Viel

James G. Viel, 52, of East Hartford, died Monday, February 28, 2011 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born June 9, 1958 in New Haven, the son of Kathleen (Clark) DeJoseph and the late Robert Viel Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Holly (Abbott) Viel, five children, Christopher Viel, Jeremy Viel and his wife Kate, Michael Viel, Nathan Viel and Kathleen Viel, two brothers, Robert Viel Jr. and his wife Sandy and John Clark Omeara, three sisiters, Virginia Reviczky and her husband Charles, Elizabeth Mehlinger and her husband David Jr. and Wendy Hanniford and her husband Tim, four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Baptist Church of Ashford, 38Pompey Hollow Rd., (Rte. 44) Ashford. There are no calling hours.
