James F. Titterington

James F. Titterington, 57, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away suddenly in his sleep the morning of Tuesday, (June 20, 2006) at home in Oak Ridge, NJ. Jim was born March 7, 1949 in Boston, the son of Alice (Donnelly) Titterington of Willimantic, and the late James Titterington. He moved from the Willimantic area to northern New Jersey in the late 1970's. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 12 years, Laury; sisters, Joy of Portland, ME, and Sandy of Marlborough; sons, James of Stanhope, NJ, and Matthew of Windsor Locks; four grandchildren; and six nieces and nephews. Starting in sales, Jim quickly worked his way into management and then national accounts. Recently he was a licensed New Jersey Realtor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, skiing and motor sports. He was a hard working, easy going, beloved man with a big smile and a bigger heart. He will be sorrowfully missed. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic, on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Scotland Cemetery, Scotland.
