James A. Mclaughlin

James A. McLaughlin Sr., 68 , of Mesa, AZ. formerly of FT. Fairfield, ME. and Willimantic, died Friday July 16, 2004 in Mesa. He was born June 22, 1936 in FT. Fairfield the son of Anna "Dolly" McLaughlin of FT. Fairfield and the late Donald A. McLaughlin Sr. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving from 1954 to 1957. James formerly owned and operated J&G Electric and had also been employed at Brand-Rex Co. He was a former member of Moose Lodge #1440 and had bowled at Willi Bowl. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Ethel McLaughlin of Windham, 4 children, Sallie Peterson of Eastford, Sheila McLaughlin of Windham, Sarah McLaughlin of Florida, and James McLaughlin of New Hampshire; a sister and 2 brothers, Marilyn McLaughlin of Niantic, Christopher McLaughlin of Chicago, IL. and Donald McLaughlin of Windsor; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 6 nephews. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday Aug. 13, 2004 at 11:00am at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Burial will follow in the Windham Center Cemetery.
