James Walter McConnell, Jr.

It is with deepest regret that James Walter McConnell, Jr., a.k.a “Mac” has died on January 7, 2026, in his home, after a long battle with Cancer. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lorraine Schlegel McConnell; Sister Judith Gadbois of Kentucky; Nephews David McConnell, Jeffrey McConnell, Eric Paul Breuning and Niece Kimberlea Curran; and Cousins Joel DeNigris, Albert DeNigris, Robert DeNigris, Jay DeNigris, Julii Gibson and Catherine Cosgrove. There will be no calling hours; instead a special service will be held in Ashford in the Spring.
