James "Jim" Davidson Obituary
James “Jim” Charles Davidson, 72, of North Windham, CT passed away on December 27, 2022 after complications of the flu. Jim was born on April 7, 1950 to Russell and Muriel Davidson of Andover, CT.

Jim graduated from RHAM High School, Class of 1968, and during his time there, was awarded the Golden Hammer for his accomplishments in woodworking. He went on the study at Central Connecticut State University.

After graduating with a degree in industrial arts, he began his longstanding career of owning his own remodeling company in which Nancy worked side by side with him for many years. Jim was talented in his craftmanship, fine woodworking, and his ability to literally fix anything.

He was a lifetime member of the hunting and fishing club, The Fin, Fur and Feather. Jim was known for his involvement in the sporting clays and five-stand activities of the club and recently was honored to have the five-stand field named after him, “Davidson Field”. He spent countless days at The Fin, Fur and Feather, where he had many friends of which he considered family and for this, he was eternally grateful.

Anyone that knew Jim knew that his great love in life involved the great outdoors, and it was always just as important to him to include Nancy and Jason in those experiences. Jim was an avid fisherman and huntsman. He enjoyed shooting sports and involving his beloved dogs that he proudly trained throughout his life.

Jim leaves behind his wife, Nancy Davidson, whom he married in 1987, his son, Jason Charles Davidson, daughter in law, Robin (Griffith) Davidson, as well as his granddaughter, Eve Davidson.

He will be missed greatly by his family and friends, and we will hold him in our hearts eternally. Those that were a part of his life were blessed and fortunate that he let us be a part of him.

There are no calling hours or a funeral service as that was his wish. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later to be determined date that will be shared with friends and family.
