Jacob Bailey Obituary
Jacob “Jake” D. Bailey, 34, of Ashford, CT, beloved father, son and brother passed away on June 7, 2020.

Jacob was born January 15, 1986, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Douglas Bailey Jr. and Deborah (Seagrave) Lambdin.

As the youngest of the four siblings, his strength and loyalty shined early.  He was a silly, jokester with interests in soccer, boy scouts and motorcycles.  Jacob was a 2004 graduate of Windham Technical High School and was an accomplished machinist.

His ultimate accomplishment and true driving force in life were his two sons, Corey and Zachary.  Nothing made him prouder than being a father.   He enjoyed watching Corey play soccer and flag football, and supported Zachary as a cub scout.  Jake found escape in heavy metal music and horror movies.  Throughout his years, he raced flat track motorcycles with his family, finding enjoyment in friendly competition against his dad and siblings.  His love of motorcycles was carried over to his sons at the “Deerfield 100” family celebrations.  Jake exhibited a tough exterior but had an incredibly loving and loyal soul.

Jacob is survived by his loving boys, Corey and Zachary, his father, Doug, his sister, Jessica, husband Brian and children Dominic and Katelyn, his sister, Dara, husband Joseph and children Isabel, Ethan and Levi, his brother, Joshua and wife Christine, as well as many loving friends and extended family.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 10 am, St. Joseph Cemetery, 134 Club Road, Windham, CT.
